As a composer, violist and violinist, I focus on contemporary music. My work as a performer in various chamber music and ensemble formations encompasses a wide range from the classical-romantic musicianship’s tradition to experimental-performative approaches. As a composer, my special affinity is for the theater. With the director, author and theater-maker Levin Handschuh, since our joint student years, numerous works have been created in Munich, Cologne, Bremen and Gelsenkirchen, among others. In other interdisciplinary teams I worked at the Theater Plauen-Zwickau as well as at the Staatstheater Augsburg.

After private violin and composition lessons, my education led me to the University of Music and Theatre Munich in 2010. There I studied composition for six years with Prof. Moritz Eggert and in parallel violin, first in an instrumental teaching profile, then with an artistic focus with Prof. Ingolf Turban and finally in a master’s degree for Contemporary Music. Meanwhile, thanks to a scholarship granted by the Bavarian Ministry of Culture, I spent half a year at the Cité Internationale des Arts Paris. Finally, I studied viola in the Master’s program at the University of Music Freiburg with Prof. Sylvie Altenburger.

I’m a permanent member of the following ensembles:
